Anxiety, burnout and perfectionism. Ten years in community mental health before private practice.
Registered clinical counsellors working with anxiety, burnout, grief and the parts of life that don't fit a label. No questionnaires before the first session, and no requirement to have it all worked out.
If what you're carrying isn't listed, that's not a reason not to call. Most first sessions start with “I'm not sure this is a real problem.”
The looping thoughts, the physical symptoms, and the avoidance that quietly shrinks a life.
For people who kept going through it and are now finding that rest doesn't fix anything.
Bereavement, pregnancy loss, and the anniversaries nobody else in the room remembers.
Communication that has turned into logistics, separation, and the question of whether to try.
Immigration, career change, late diagnosis, and the years spent being someone else's version of you.
Slow, consent-led work with counsellors trained in EMDR and somatic approaches.
Every counsellor is registered with the BCACC or CCPA, carries their own liability insurance, and takes weekly supervision.
Anxiety, burnout and perfectionism. Ten years in community mental health before private practice.
Grief, men's mental health and major life transitions. Works evenings.
Trauma, EMDR and 2SLGBTQ+ clients. Offers a reduced rate for students.
“I spent four sessions saying I was fine before I said anything true. Nobody hurried me, and that turned out to be the treatment.”

We publish the fee and the sliding scale. If cost is the thing stopping you, say so on the phone.
Ten minutes with our intake coordinator to match you with the right counsellor. No clinical details needed.
Fifty minutes. You set the pace. If it doesn't feel workable, the next counsellor is at no charge.
Weekly or fortnightly, reviewed every eight sessions so it doesn't drift.
A 50-minute session with a registered counsellor is $150. We hold a number of $110 sliding-scale slots for students, seniors and people on disability. The fee is the same online or in person.
Most extended health plans do. You get a receipt with the counsellor's registration number; we don't direct-bill except with Blue Cross. Check your plan's annual maximum before the first session.
Most people come for eight to twenty sessions. Some come for three and get what they needed. We review it together rather than book you indefinitely.
Yes, with the usual limits: immediate risk to yourself or someone else, a child at risk, or a court order. Your counsellor will explain those limits in the first session.
Call 9-8-8 or go to your nearest emergency department. We're not an crisis service and don't keep a 24-hour line.
A ten-minute intake call, a counsellor matched to what you're carrying, and a first session you can stop after if it isn't right.
