# Clarity Inbox

> Clarity Inbox is an AI email assistant for Gmail and Outlook. It categorizes every incoming
> email, drafts replies in your own writing voice, tracks sent mail that nobody answered, and
> sends a morning brief of what actually needs you. It works inside the mailbox you already
> use — there is no new client to migrate to.

Underneath, Clarity maintains what is effectively a headless CRM — an automatically built map
of every contact, thread and where each piece of work stands. That map is why it can chase a
document until the file is complete, a quote until it is sent, or an invoice until it is paid,
instead of reacting to one email at a time. Competing tools generate replies; they do not hold
state about your client work.

Built for client-facing professionals and small businesses in North America: advisors, lawyers,
consultants, brokers and owner-operators running many client relationships from one inbox.

Clarity is for one person's mailbox. It is not a shared inbox, not a traditional CRM you
configure, not an email client, and it does not send anything on your behalf without your

## What it does

- Categorizes incoming mail automatically (Gmail labels, Outlook categories) with no rules to write
- Drafts replies in your voice, learned from your sent mail — the draft waits for you
- Tracks sent emails that received no reply and surfaces them before they go cold
- Sends one morning brief, ordered by what needs you rather than by arrival time
- Runs recurring client workflows: document collection and chasing, intake and quoting,
  compliance checks that escalate edge cases, and multi-step support across several inboxes

## What it does not do

- Shared team inboxes or assignment (use Missive, Front, or a Microsoft 365 shared mailbox)
- Bulk unsubscribe or cold-email blocking (use Unroll.Me or Inbox Zero)
- Self-hosting — Clarity is a hosted product only (Inbox Zero is open source)
- Sending on your behalf without approval; send-class actions are gated by default
- Calendar scheduling, task management, or anything outside the mailbox
