What Is an AI Chief of Staff?
The distinction from an assistant is precise, not rhetorical: an assistant executes instructions, and a chief of staff brings you the item you did not know to ask about. Almost every AI tool on the market is an assistant.
What the role means, and what software can do with it
- 1In an organisation, a chief of staff differs from an executive assistant in one structural way: the EA works from the principal's instructions, and the chief of staff works from the principal's goals.
