Three tools that all describe themselves the same way and are priced $35, €190 and $9,900. One of them has quietly left the small-business market entirely. Read from each vendor's own pricing page on 3 September 2026.

Content Snare

$35 · $71 per month

Best for a practice chasing paperwork every week

Basic is $35 a month billed annually: 20 active requests, 2 users, 20GB and 40 SMS. Plus is $71 for 50 requests and 5 users. The line that matters against the alternatives is unlimited reminders on every tier, including the cheapest — chasing is the job, so a plan that meters it is the wrong plan. Also unlimited clients, questions, upload areas and templates, with a drag-and-drop request builder, approval system and Zapier. No contract.

Alongside Clarity Inbox: It chases inside its own portal. If a client replies to the notification email rather than clicking through — which is common — that reply lands in your inbox and outside the tool's tracking.

Clustdoc

€190/mo · 50 applications

Best if you need identity verification and approvals

Pro is €190 a month for 3 seats and 50 new applications, then quote-only. Heavier than Content Snare and aimed at regulated intake: KYC, merchant, vendor and property onboarding, with ID verification, approval workflows, audit trail, 2FA, consent capture and auto-deletion rules. Two things are marked as limited rather than unlimited on Pro, and they are the two a chasing workflow leans on hardest: eSignatures and reminders.

FileInvite

From $9,900/year

Only if you are a commercial lender

Worth knowing before you spend an afternoon on it: FileInvite has repositioned to lending. The pricing page now reads “for teams managing complex lending”, standard plans start at USD $9,900 per year for lenders processing up to 100 commercial loans, and everything above that is a quote. It still does document collection, PDF form-fill and multi-party digital signing well — but it is no longer priced or positioned for an accounting practice or a law firm, and older roundups that list it alongside the two above are out of date.
