Quoting software for trades and service businesses

Two of these are whole field-service platforms that happen to quote; one only quotes. That distinction decides the price — $28 a month against $199. Read from each vendor's own pricing page on 3 September 2026.

Quotient

$28 · $48 · $88 per month

Best if you only need to quote

The only one of the three that is actually a quoting tool rather than a platform. Solo is $28 a month for one person, Team $48 for two to five, Team+ $88 with each extra member at $8. Unlimited quotes on every plan, no contract, 21-day trial with no card. If you already have bookkeeping and scheduling handled and the gap is just producing a decent quote, the others are five to seven times the price for jobs you are not asking them to do.

Alongside Clarity Inbox: It sends the quote and shows you it was viewed. It does not notice that the customer went quiet eleven days ago — Clarity watches the thread and drafts the follow-up.

Housecall Pro

From $59/mo, 1 user

Best if you want the cheapest full platform

Basic is $59 a month for one user, billed annually, with a 14-day trial. Quoting sits inside a full field-service platform — online booking so customers can book and pay 24/7 from Google or your site, invoicing and payments, scheduling and dispatch. The pricing page opens with a questionnaire on industry, company size and goals before it shows you a plan, which is a small tell about how they expect you to buy.

Jobber

$29 · $99–139 · $149–199 per month

Best if the quote is the start of a whole job

Core starts at $29 a month; Connect is $99 billed annually or $139 monthly; Grow is $149 or $199. The tier that matters for quoting is Connect, because that is where automated client reminders and automated quote and invoice follow-ups live — not Core. Grow adds rich visuals and reviews on quotes, optional upsell line items, job costing and two-way SMS. Free trial, no card.

Alongside Clarity Inbox: Its quote follow-ups are scheduled reminders on the Connect tier and above. Clarity works from the other end — the thread that stopped — and covers quotes sent from anywhere, including plain email.
